Before we were Lexington Pet Care & Dog Walks, we were Snaggle Foot Lexington -- nothing has changed but the name! Owning my own dog walking company seemed like the perfect fit for my love of animals and soon-to-be “empty nest.”

Before Lexington Pet Care & Dog Walks, I worked as a sales rep for two major companies, was a stay-at-home mom for several years, and volunteered in various capacities at my children’s schools and my church. My husband and I also enjoy attending University of Kentucky football games and traveling.

I have always loved the animal companions in my life. As a child, we family had dogs, cats, and fish, plus the occasional injured bird that would be taken home to be nursed back to health. My family’s sweet poodle, Babes, endured lots of fun being dressed up in doll clothes and having his nails painted!

After graduating from college, I was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of owning horses when a friend gave me two standard-bred horses, which I rode and enjoyed for several years. I also adopted cats: Tigger, Winnie, and Harvey!

My family includes my husband, a son and daughter-in-law who are expecting their first child in October, as well as another son, a daughter, their miniature poodle Ellie, and three grand-dogs!

I understand that pets are family, and the value of having someone you trust be there when you can’t, and you expect the best pet care in Lexington Kentucky. My team of trained Pet Care Specialists and I are dedicated to providing the highest quality pet care, love, and attention for your pets – loving care when you can’t be there!
